With all the focus on “Millennials” in the workforce, the story of the older workers gets little attention. Yet, the older Baby Boomers and GenXers get, the more 50+ workers there are in the workforce. Whether out of need or just to keep busy, people are also working longer. While Millennials will continue to be the focus, don’t count out older workers. They add a lot to workplace culture, and they offer real business advantages.
