Celebrating 10 years of Innovation!
When I
first started in the business I only did Philadelphia County but, because I parked my car across the river in Camden, New Jersey, I started doing Camden County too. Gas was cheap in those days and my life was much more easy going so I didn't mind the two-hour commute to the courthouse. Then I figured out a detour that
brought me past the Burlington County Courthouse. Though the volume was low (2
maybe 3 names at a time), because I passed the courthouse on my way home my
clients could give me their Burlington names later in the day and still get their
results back that night. Was it luck, ingenuity, or hard work?. Well a little of all three, but that hard work and ingenuity laid the cornerstone for our New
Jersey research department and all of CHR and CHRinfo. Timely response and offering
exactly what the client needs are the reasons we still go to New Jersey later in the day, sending results as soon as they are available to us.
For more information on our services in New Jersey or any other aspect of CHR, please email me directly.
Best regards,
President

In New Jersey, after the
filing of a complaint and the first court appearance, the county prosecutor's
office may determine that there is insufficient evidence to continue with the
case. If so, the charges are then downgraded to a lesser charge and
remanded to the municipal
courts for a hearing or they are dismissed. If a charge is downgraded but
not remanded, then a lesser charge is made even in superior
court.

What's Your Brand? Jay Eidelman
Are you the real thing or the choice of a new generation? Whether you recognize it or not, you have a brand. Everything you say about your business, everything you hand out, even your business card is part of that brand. Cultivating your brand and extending it through the images and ideas you use to represent your company builds value. The market value of companies like Coca Cola, Microsoft, Nike, and others often relies more on the intangible value of the company's brand than on the value of its tangible assets. Even smaller companies can build recognizable brands by marketing not only their strengths but also their values and principles. This is particularly important for CRAs, who play a vital role in maintaining workplace safety.
By way of example, let's take a look at Dove®, the soap and beauty products manufacturer. Though by no means a small player--Dove is a global brand owned by the Anglo-Dutch consumer products giant Unilever--the company's Campaign for Real Beauty represents a great example of values branding. At the heart of the Campaign is what they view as a dangerous societal obsession with unattainable beauty ideals. In response, the Campaign, through the Dove Self-esteem Fund, organizes confidence-building workshops that empower girls to "embrace all definitions of beauty." Some would call this approach cynical because, in the end, it still promotes beauty products and by extension the beauty industry. While that may be, Dove has demonstrated that it does not march in lockstep with its competitors--a key goal of branding. And whatever its motives, from a marketing perspective there is a lot to be said for a Campaign that has already had a direct positive effect on the lives of 2 million girls.
